The Gironkwluar

Back in the fall of 2011, I decided to have a sketch-athon with my friend, Matt.  We ventured out to Lincoln Park Zoo to sketch some fun little animals.  At this news that we would be sketching at the zoo, my friend, Tretter, made a funny comment that I should draw him a Giraffe, a Monkey, an Owl, and a Jaguar all combined into one animal.

Fast forward one year, I decided to create a 3D sculpture of this combo-animal...
(made out of a metal armature, Sculpey clay, and finished with acrylic paint)
